Oklahoma teachers on strike: "We're doing this for our kids"

For the second day, thousands of Oklahoma teachers marched at the state capitol. Inside the rotunda, educators, and hundreds of their students demanded an increase in school funding .

"I'm learning that if all of us work together something can happen," said Anna Dilley, an eighth grade student.

Teachers turned to lobbyists, crowding the hallways and waiting in line to meet with almost every state lawmaker. The tactic and tone of the demonstrations upset Republican State Rep. Kevin McDugle, who posted a video on Facebook Live, but later deleted it.
